Definitely a No for Honey Singh, don’t ask a reason for it. We won’t consider yesteryear’s legends who sang for themselves in the era of pre playback singing.Ĭ.

‘No’ for Shahrukh Khan and he doesnt make to our list because his only singing venture was ‘Apun Bola Tu Meri Laila’ from Josh.ī. So I thought I would go for actors who had sung more than once and sure have been loved by listeners.Ī. In current scenario almost every actor had tried to make mark behind microphones with the latest one riding on this trend is Parineeti Chopra for Meri Pyaari Binduīut then if we count every such actor who has held microphone and try to make a list comprising them, it would be a very tough call. Keeping all these names out of our list we decided not to go for singing actors but rather the other way round and look for actors who can sing. I guess that was a bit harsh description for Himesh Reshamiya. Ohh and let’s not talk about music director turned so called singer who can barely act.
EKLA CHALO RE REMIX MOVIE
We had some singers who decided to act – Sonu Nigam being the foremost along with Mika and Shaan appearing in a movie a couple of years ago. So today we try to figure out have we got any singing actors ever since Kishore Kumar. Though there never was someone as diversly talented as him, when we primarily focus on the two areas where he was most acclaimed, acting and singing. Since then many have tried to tread on the same path, contribute to multiple areas on screen and behind the screen but none successful enough to match this legend.

There never was a dull moment with Kishore Kumar. He made us cry when the heartbroken heroes divulged their pain in the songs sang by him but when he appeared on screen he made us smile, laugh, love, cry and enjoy every moment we saw him. He made us fall in love when the heroes on screen made women swoon for them using songs voiced by him. When you put that name in a sentence and though you can use all your adjectives to define him, no word seems to do justice to this best all-rounder of Hindi Films. A composer, a great actor with impeccable comic timing and off course a gem of a singer – the legendary ‘Kishore Kumar’. When we talk about versatility in bollywood the name which first knocks the doors of my brain was a legend, in fact the greatest that Indian cinema has ever produced. No wonder it was Aamir Khan who proved another side of his versatility in movie business with this song. “Dhakad” Rap version featured Aamir Khan and the song indeed depicted the zest that embedded in the entire movie. The fact was Aamir Khan returning behind the microphones to record a song. Apart from stellar performances, beautiful storyline, apt social message the movie had one more factor which got sidelined considering the majority of other wonderful facts associated with it. Dangal was undoubtedly the best movie of 2016.
